Take a bow RCB...IPL Champs, 2025. Though the wait was long and entailed a lot of hard work, the fruit at the end of it all was really sweet. And amidst all the heartbreak and the ultimate glory, one man stood tall. One man who stood true to the Franchise which had picked him in the first edition . Virat Kohli, King Kohli as he is popularly called. His passion for the game has to be seen to be believed. And he always plays with his heart on his sleeve. The entire stadium and billions of Television viewers across the globe can read his every emotion and thought at any given time. My favourite Franchise in the fray has always been the Chennai Super kings, but Kohli is a player who transcends team boundaries and is loved by all cricket enthusiasts. What a game of cricket it was, the final of the IPL at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. After the exciting buildup of two months of the sport, the best teams had reached the final. The Punjab Team, the other finalist, was indeed one to be reckoned with. They won the toss and decided to bowl first. RCB put up 190 on the board with the King top scoring at 43. This didn't seem enough. The Punjab Team came out all guns blazing ready to make mincemeat of the Bangloreans. However, they were forced to eat humble pie, despite a few excellent performances, and RCB came up trumps. It was an emotional moment for Bangalore fans worldwide. They, who had been cheering the team on for 18 long years. They, who had persevered and completely believed in their team. The high of this victory will sustain them for a long time to come.
