The IPL, one of the biggest global sports extravaganza which commenced in 2008 is now in its 18th Season. Each time around the passion is only growing and the viewership is now in crores. New Heroes are being crowned and the matches have evoked their share of tears and smiles. I've been an avid follower from the very beginning and my favourite Team is Chennai Super Kings (I would not be honest if I did'nt say that the presence of MSD in the Team plays a big role in this) Sadly the performance of CSK in this edition was nothing to write home about, leaving us, their fans, to switch loyalties. This season has thrown up some amazing performances, and the biggest of them all is definitely the masterful strokeplay by the youngster, Vybhav Suryavanshi of the Rajasthan Royals.

Creating history as the youngest player to score a century in IPL history, and also to score the second fastest IPL hundred in the Rajasthan Royals vs Gujarat Titans match, he has etched a name for himself in the annals of Cricketing lore. It was a magical performance which raised goosebumps and what was most striking was his cool headed approach where seasoned batsmen would tremble. At such a young age and a glorious future stretching before him one can only pray that he does not allow himself to get overwhelmed with the adulation
